Privacy Policy

This policy covers the PointFlux mobile app and the PointFlux web platform (together, "PointFlux," "we," "us").

Information we collect

Account information. When you or your business signs up for PointFlux, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).

Business data. PointFlux is a point-of-sale and inventory system. In the course of using it, we store the data you and your team enter or generate: products, stock levels, sales transactions, customer records you add, and related business records.

Camera access. The mobile app requests camera access solely to scan barcodes and serial numbers when receiving stock or checking out a serialized product. Camera images are processed on-device to read the code and are not stored or transmitted.

Device/usage information. Standard technical information (IP address, device type, app version) is logged for security and debugging, consistent with normal server operation.

How we use information

• To provide and operate the PointFlux service for your business.
• To authenticate you and secure your account, including optional two-factor authentication.
• To send you account-related notifications (e.g. password resets, low-stock alerts) via the app or email.

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.

Data sharing

We do not share your business data with other PointFlux tenants — each business's data is isolated. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g. hosting, email delivery), bound by confidentiality obligations, and when required by law.

Data retention

Business data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
